After 30 years in business in New York City, Peachtree & Bennett consolidated its
operations in Atlanta in 2010. Our expert appraisers bring in quality antiques and
collectibles from Manhattan and New England, as well as from across the South, for our
lively monthly auctions at the Scott Antiques Market.
For sellers, we offer comprehensive, cost-effective options, whether you want to sell an
entire estate or just a few pieces. Peachtree & Bennett’s unparalleled customer service,
our diverse sales venues, and our innovative marketing have established us as the
premier auction house in Atlanta.
A second generation antiques veteran with over 30 years of experience, Gary learned
the business from the ground up. He is widely respected for his in-depth knowledge and
for his integrity as a seller: his reputation for scrutinizing the authenticity of his
merchandise is legendary. Gary is also a highly-regarded auctioneer who has led
numerous prestigious charity auctions, including events held at Carnegie Hall, Madison
Square Garden, and the Riverside Yacht Club.
Originally from South America, Alejandra started working with Gary almost a decade
ago and soon realized that she had found a career. Alejandra is an official auctioneer of
Peachtree & Bennett’s events, where buyers and sellers alike appreciate her unique
style. She is also responsible for making sure that Peachtree & Bennett’s day-to-day
operations run smoothly, overseeing the marketing, customer service, and administrative aspects of the gallery.
Without Robert, everything at Peachtree & Bennett would quite literally come to a
standstill. Robert is responsible for driving our trucks, managing pickups and deliveries,
and ensuring that the many fragile and valuable items we handle are kept safe and
secure. Robert knows the business well, having worked with Gary for over a decade.
He’s a natural people person and much loved by our customers.
A recent addition to Peachtree & Bennett, Andrew graduated from the Sam Fox School
of Visual Art & Design at Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelors of Fine Art
in Studio Art and a minor in Art History. Andrew brings a solid knowledge of fine art from
his studies, as well as from his own experience as a practicing artist. Andrew is also
involved in Atlanta’s art scene as a painter, and can be found frequenting galleries as well as showing his own work.
Christopher joined Peachtree & Bennett four years ago and has taken on more and
more responsibilities over time. Christopher has a positive attitude and is constantly
learning about the business and figuring out new ways to improve our operations. He
now oversees logistics in the gallery, in addition to doing our photography.
